Dental Jobs?
OK, so i havent fully made up my mind, I almost wish I had any job in the Fields dental care. Who usually gets paid more? Dentists?-Orthodontists? -Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeons?-Cosmetic Dentists? Or any other type of employment in the dental field I missed running my own practice as those I mentioned above? I know yet I think I want to be a orthodontist, but I want a job where I get a lot more money from her job in the dental, but I do not want the tuition too! it already takes about 8-9 years of college to be an orthodontist and dental work would get paid more but require less or the same amount of school time, I live along the Pacific coast in Southern California and want to continue living here while I a career. So I want to make lots of money. since everything, including houses are indeed very expensive nowadays here. For Dentalchick. I clearly I said that does not enjoy any of these jobs.
You've got some very good advice on other posters. Remember that school Dentistry is very expensive – tuition is about 10X what it was when I went to school in the 1970s. Then, if you open your own practice, it can cost several hundred thousand to build an office, even if no real property concerned. So you can be a huge financial hole before seeing your first patient. The implementation and the particular dynamics of your particular dental office help determine income. Location and customers are important, and obviously your skill level. But the personality and service are probably The most important of all. While it is true that cosmetic dentistry is not covered by insurance and then insurance companies can not influence the cost, your market. In addition, any Dentist can (and most do) cosmetic dentistry – it is not a specialty (but there many continuing ed classes there).
